Howell Lanes Goes to the Bowling Dead

Local business hosts theme night

It was dead at the Howell Lanes on Saturday night but the action was fast and furious as patrons enjoyed a favorite pastime while celebrating one of their favorite shows.

The local business held a "Walking Dead Theme Night," and more than 30 people showed up in costume to try to win a variety of prizes for their bowling prowess and loyalty to the AMC show. In the end it was Tim Anderson who won the prize for being the best dressed zombie and went home with his very own zombie bowling ball.

Other prizes given out included T-shirts, posters and comic books. Charles Anderson, a manager at the business thanked Robin Burner and family for helping to put the night together and said it would be the first of many theme nights to be added to the calendar.
