Howell Fire District #3 Fire Commissioners Election

Howell Fire District # 3 Fire Commissioners Election

Artie Esposito and myself Doug Hesselbarth are running for re-election to the Board of Fire Commissioners District #3 Howell Township this Saturday, February 16, 2013.  Artie and myself have both been dedicated volunteers to our community as volunteer firemen at Southard Fire Department for over 25 years while also serving our community as elected Fire Commissioners.  Artie has 13 years and I have 15 years experience as Fire Commissioners.  We have always had a balanced budget and most years have had a budget surplus while giving district residents first rate fire protection. Please come out and vote this Saturday, February 16th from 2-9pm at Southard Fire House and support Artie Esposito and Doug Hesselbarth for Fire Commissioners.

May be you can clearify? I was under the impression that Artie and Steve were the incumbents.... Why does your sign say RE-ELECT? I was told by a friend you lost last years election.. Do you presently sit on the Howell Board of Commissioners? I can't find your name anywhere on the website. You stated earlier on another blog you were running a fair campaign... that doesnt seem fair to me at all. I guess we will just let the voter decide.

I do not currently sit on the Board, I lost last years election by one vote, I checked with the board of elections before printing our campaign material. I was told that since I was a past Commissioner it would not be wrong to use the term re elect. Whoever is giving you your information should get there facts straight. Artie and myself are running a clean and fair campaign. Did you know more than half of our lawn signs have been stolen and that our large 4x4 street signs were also stolen. That does not seem like someone is running a clean campaign to me. The votors will decide on Saturday.
