Plenty of important meetings in town

The third week of February looks to be a busy one in town as three meetings will be held at night among many other events here in Howell.

On Tuesday night the Howell Township Council will hold a workshop meeting at 7:30 at the new Municipal Building. There are several items on the agenda including a proclamation recognizing two local women involved in the Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore.

Another item on the agenda is an ordinance regarding the Howell Fire Bureau. The ordinance had been discussed at an earlier meeting and was met with resistance from the Howell Fire Commissioners. According to the agenda the ordinance will be voted down at Tuesday's meeting.
