Hold On To Your Hats: Wind Advisory in Effect

It looks like mother nature has another surprise in store for Howell today as the National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory for the area until 8 p.m. tonight.

Strong winds are expected to blow through the area late this morning and again later in the afternoon. There could be sustained winds as high as 30 MPH with gusts anywhere from 45 to 50 MPH, the National Weather Service warns.

This could mean tough driving for cars, as well as branches that could get broken off of trees. 

In other weather news there may be only a few flurries today, but it looks like that is as close as the town will get to any sort of precipitation for the rest of the week.
