Howell Day Set For July 6

41st annual event to include fireworks after dark

This year’s Howell Day festivities will be punctuated by a fireworks display after sunset on July 6 at Oak Glen Park. 

Festivities for the 41st annual event are scheduled to begin at 5 p.m., and will include  face painting, a watermelon eating contest, video game truck, free rides for kids and live entertainment as well as giveaways from radio stations WJRZ 100.1 and NJ 101.5, organizers said.

The Eddie Testa Band is scheduled to perform at 5:15 p.m., with The Nerds to take over at 7 p.m.

Parking for Howell Day will be available at Howell High School, Howell Middle School North and Aldrich Road Park & Ride. Free shuttle buses will be available from these sites. There will be no parking available inside the park.
