Keep Those Umbrellas Handy as Rain May Return

The ground was wet in Howell this morning after last night's rain and thunderstorm. But Even as the sun shines at 7:30, the National Weather Service says the wet weather is likely not gone for good. 

As the day goes on, the high temperature will likely not go much above 80, but there is also a 60 percent chance of rain on the day. That rain could very well continue into tonight with the temperature dropping closer to the low 60's. 

The rain today should be gone by tonight making for a sunny and warm Saturday here in Howell. Saturday's high temperature is also expected to be a much higher 87 degrees, dropping down to 67 tomorrow night. 

There has also been a change in the forecast for Father's Day as there is now a 30 percent chance of rain to go along with the 80 degree weather.
