Manasquan Reservoir Named Readers' Choice for Howell Parks

With weather predictions putting the temperature next week in the 60's or even 70's it is time to start thinking about where to go when the weather is consistently nice. 

After a week's worth of voting you the readers of Howell Patch have chosen the as the best park in town. Out of 36 votes cast the county park received an overwhelming majority of the votes with 28 or 77 percent of the total cast. 

The park provides a wide variety of activities on its 1200 acres including a lake, walking trails and a picnic area perfect for that spring and summer recreational activities. The boat rentals are just around the corner and the fishing should pick up soon enough. 

Of the township parks was the top vote getter with five and accessibility to the park should improve with the road expected to open later today if not in the next few days at the latest.
