No Break From the Heat in Sight

80s and 90s expected for rest of the week

With Independence Day tomorrow, there are plenty of fireworks shows to look forward to across the area and also plenty of heat for the rest of the week.

The National Weather Service is predicting temperatures will stay in the high 80's to low 90's for the week with only a small chance of rain to break it up warm temperatures as the lows as well.

A low temperature of 69 on Tuesday night also brings with it a 30 percent chance of rain but the mercury will climb back to 87 degrees on July 4th. The chance of rain increases to 40 percent on Wednesday and leaves a low temperature of just around 71 on Wednesday night.
