In addition, at over 800 households in Wall, 700 in Farmingdale, and 500 in Freehold Township lost power.

Some Howell customers received calls from JCP&L informing them they could lose power after midnight on Wednesday morning as the company completed maintenance work near Wycoff Mills Road. It was not immediately known if the current outage was related to the maintenance work that was scheduled to take place.

Nakell Williams, a spokesperson for the Freehold Regional High School District said Howell High School experienced "sporadic power outages," but that work being done in the area had been completed and power had been fully restored to the building.
