PAL to Hold Youth Scuba Class

The Howell PAL will be holding a class to teach children between the ages of 8 and 14 the finer points of Scuba Diving. 

Held at the pool of the Cruz Farm Golf Club in Farmingdale, the class is scheduled to run from Aug. 27-31 from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The class will be taught by Ptl. Tom Matthews of the Howell Police Department who is also a certified Scuba instructor. 

Participants in the class will have SCUBA equipment provided for them during the week and will learn skills in the pool that they can use out in open water.
