Planning Board to Meet Tonight

Five things to know for Thursday Oct. 27, 2011

1. You can use whatever word you want for this Thursday morning. Whether it be dark, damp, dreary or any other number of synonyms for the rainy day that has settled over the area. The National Weather Service is predicting a high of 60 degrees today with as much as half an inch of rain falling over the course of the day. The rain may continue tonight with a chilling low of just 37.

The sun should come back out tomorrow with a high temperature of 51 degrees before more cold temperatures and rain are likely tomorrow night. There is a good chance the rain could continue through Saturday night making for a wet start to the weekend.

 2. The Freehold Regional High School District is scheduled to hold a college and career night tonight at Freehold High School. There will be representatives from a variety of schools and is open to FRHSD students in grades 10 and up. Juniors are invited to attend from 6 p.m. to 7:30 with sophomores and seniors able to attend from 7:30 to 9 p.m. All students wishing to attend must bring their tickets to the event.
