The USNS Robert E. Peary, a Military Sealift Command ship set sail from Naval Weapons Station Earle on Tuesday.
During its stay at the base the Dry Cargo/Ammunition ship received an ordnance load according to Public Affairs Officer Michael K. Brady. The ship will now join the USS Eisenhower Carrier Strike Group during its deployment.
