Spring Showers in the Forecast This Week

Rain Lingers Through Wednesday.

The memories of the frost warning from last Monday have passed but the National Weather Service (NWS) is calling for a wet start to the week for much of our area.

Today's high temperature looks to be right around 60 degrees with at least a 50 percent chance of showers throughout the day. With the rain running through tonight close to an inch of precipitation could fall with more expected tomorrow. The low temperature for tonight is predicted to be a still comfortable 48 degrees with stronger winds.

There is a 30 percent chance of rain on Tuesday with a high near 64 during the day and a low of 46 at night when the NWS is calling for just a drizzle to fall. By Wednesday the chance of a shower decreases to around 20 percent with a high near 62 and a low of 47 at night.

By Thursday the NWS is predicting the wet weather to pass with a high near 61 on a mostly sunny day. The low for Thursday night should be around 46 before rising back near 65 on Friday. That pattern is predicted to continue through the weekend.
