Tell Us What You See

We want to share your stories of Hurricane Irene

With less than 12 hours until Hurricane Irene makes its full impact on Howell, residents of the township have been busy over the past few days getting ready for whatever comes our way. Now it is time to see whether we have done enough to get ready, or if we have done too much depending on how strong Irene is when she she finally arrives.

How are you spending the time leading up to the storm? Are you staying in Howell? Or are you moving even further inland?

Nobody really knows what this storm will bring to our area yet and we could lose power making updating this site difficult, but until that becomes a problem we invite you to tell us your stories of the storm in the comments section. Tell us what you see, what you are doing to get ready and what you are expecting.

In a town as big as Howell what people see in the Ramtown section could be completely different than what people are seeing in the Adelphia section and everywhere in between and beyond. We want to have the whole town covered and we can only do that with your help.

As part of the story telling you can add your own photos to the site, but we will also have reporters spread throughout the town bringing you the most up to date information that we can. If you have any questions you can leave them in the comments section of this story or send an email to adam.hochron@patch.com.
