Two Billboard Applications Held Until October

The Howell Planning Board meeting came to an early end on Thursday night after two of the applications were postponed until a meeting next month.

Both applications were brought by Outdoor Media Systems LLC and were represented by Kevin Burke. With members of the board missing, the applicants exercised their right to have their case heard in front of the full board. 

The first application was for a billboard to be constructed near 5440 Route 9 south. The second application is for a similar billboard to be built near 1581 Route 9 north.

A look at the calendar for the board showed that the application would not be heard for the rest of the month. The next opportunity is tentatively scheduled for Oct. 20. Prior to that, the board is scheduled to meet on Oct. 6.
