New Jersey Election 2013: Incumbent Republicans Win 30th District

Singer, Kean and Rible handily re-elected.

Republican incumbent state Sen. Robert Singer and Assemblymen Sean Kean and David Rible won re-election in the 30th District.

Singer, a Lakewood resident, bested Democratic state Senate candidate William Field of Howell 36,260 votes to 15,402, according to unofficial election results from Monmouth and Ocean counties with all but one district reporting.

In the Assembly race, Kean of Wall came out on top with 39,390 ballots, followed by Rible, also a Wall resident, with 36,954. Democratic candidate and Lakewood resident Jimmy Esposito had 13,776 tallies and running mate Lorelei Rouvrais of Farmingdale had 12,856.

The 30th District is comprised of Avon-by-the-Sea, Belmar, Bradley Beach, Brielle, Farmingdale, Howell, Lake Como, Lakewood, Manasquan, Point Pleasant, Sea Girt, Spring Lake, Spring Lake Heights and Wall.
