Over $225K Raised in 30th District Legislative Race

New Jersey's 2013 campaigns for state Legislature are funded by $27.7 million in contributions, NJ Spotlight reports.

Candidates in New Jersey’s legislative races have raised $27.7 million to fund their 2013 campaigns, according to NJ Spotlight analysis of New Jersey Election Law Enforcement Commission data.

Here's how the fundraising is going in the 30th District, excluding candidates who are not required to file due to low spending:

State Senate
Robert W. Singer (R) - $111,085

State Assembly
Jimmy Esposito (D) - $1,405
David P. Rible (R) - $117,109

The district includes Avon-by-the-Sea, Belmar, Bradley Beach, Brielle, Farmingdale, Howell, Lake Como, Lakewood, Manasquan, Point Pleasant, Sea Girt, Spring Lake, Spring Lake Heights, and Wall.
