Award-winning singer/songwriter Avi Wisnia presents an eclectic mix of original songs and inventive covers that find inspiration in Brazilian bossa nova, acoustic American folk, 1950’s west-coast jazz, and contemporary pop. Wisnia has been described as Ben Folds meets Norah Jones meets Brazilian beats.

Born in Princeton, NJ, Wisnia has toured the country with his dynamic ensemble and his debut full-length album, Something New, performing across the country including engagements at The Kennedy Center, Yoshi’s Jazz House in San Francisco, and venues across Brazil.  He has performed alongside artists such as The Roots, Maroon 5, and Arturo Sandoval, His music has won several OutMusic Awards, including the Outstanding Jazz Song of the Year for 2012 and 2011, and has been featured on TV and in feature films.
