Howell Township Education Foundation's 5th Annual Race to Educate

The Howell Township Education Foundation, in

conjunction with the Freehold Area Running Club, will hold its 5th annual 5K Run/Walk event, “The Race to Educate”, on Saturday, May 17, 2014 at Howell Middle School South.  The event is an exciting day for the 500

expected participants. In addition to the 5K Run, there is a 5K Walk for all ages.  All participants will receive a race
tee-shirt and hospitality bags. Radio station B98.5 will broadcast from the race.

This year's theme is "Show Your School Colors!"  There will be a school   mascot race and the school with the greatest percentage  of participants will receive a $1,000 stipend and the Golden Sneaker Award. 

Registration prior to May 1st is $20.00 and $25.00 after May 1st.

All proceeds benefit the Howell Township
Education Foundation, a voluntary, non-profit, tax exempt organization
established in 2005 whose mission is the promotion, sponsorship, and
expansion of innovative programs, such as technology education, which are
designed to enhance and enrich the curriculum of our public school students
beyond the normal school budget.
