Howell's local band, The Nocturnes Big Band, will perform a benefit concert tonight to help the First Presbyterian Church of Belmar raise funds to help pay for damages to the church caused by Hurricane Sandy. Donations will be accepted, although the concert is open and free to the public. The Nocturnes, along with singer, Cheryl Parker, will perform original scores from the 40's to the present. There will also be a second concert on Thursday, August 22nd at the same time and location.
