GCU’s McAuley Institute Offers Golfing Lessons from Pros

Georgian Court University's McAuley Institute for Lifelong Learning (MILL) can teach you the basics of golf and beyond.

All your friends are playing golf, but you’re on the sidelines because you don’t know where to start? Georgian Court University’s McAuley Institute for Lifelong Learning (MILL) can teach you the basics and beyond with Get Golf Ready I and II on Wednesdays in May at Eagle Ridge Golf Club, 200 Augusta Boulevard, Lakewood.

Get Golf Ready I is your fast track to hitting the golf course. You’ll find out everything you’ll need to know to step onto a golf course, whether you’re a true beginner or returning to the game. Once you have the basics down, take Get Golf Ready II to help you transition your skills to the golf course. The advance course is designed to enhance your golf swing, short game, and other essential elements of your golf game. Professional instruction is provided by Eagle Ridge Golf Club pros/instructors.

Both courses consist of five hour-long sessions on Wednesdays, May 1, 8, 15, 22, and 29. Get Golf Ready I runs from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m., and Get Golf Ready II runs from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Each course is $129 for MILL members, and $150 for non-MILL members. Annual MILL membership is just $25.
