Howell Pop Warner Cheerleaders Shine at National Championships
Junior Midge squad placed third in the country.
They may not have come back with the grand prizes they were seeking, but two groups of cheerleaders from the Howell Pop Warner came home after making their league, their teams and their hometown proud at the National Championships.
Under the direction of Coach Jane Mazik the pee wee team went to Disney hoping to defend their title from last year. After winning the New Jersey title and taking second in the eastern region the squad was thrilled to place in the top 10 in the country.
Also having a successful trip was the Junior Midget group which had won the state and regional titles before heading down to Florida. With Coach Tammi Kahn leading the way the squad was more than happy to bring home the third place trophy.
