Shrek Coming to Town Hall Hill Tonight

Shore Flicks brings classic film to Howell for outdoor showing

Tonight around 9 p.m. the hill in front of  will be taken over by a big green ogre, a talking donkey and a princess among other fairy tale characters. 

In the third and final installment of Shore Flicks in the town, Shrek will be shown to entertain residents from around the area. Family and friends from around Howell and the surrounding communities are invited to attend free of charge with the movie set to start after the sun goes down. 

There will be vendors on the hill tonight selling everything from popcorn and ice cream to glow sticks and necklaces. All you have to bring is a blanket or a low back lawn chair to enjoy the show.

Those coming to the movie are also encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item that will be donated to the local food pantry. 

The series was supposed to start on Howell Day with a showing of ET but powerful thunderstorms in the area forced the cancellation of that show. There was also a showing of the Muppets last month.
