Power Outage Turns Off Lights for Over 1,300 Residents
JCP&L claims more than 1,300 affected by morning outage
A power outage along Route 9 and Aldrich Road helped to provide a dark morning for a significant number of Howell residents this morning, according to a representative from Jersey Central Power & Light (JCP&L).
"The outage affected over 1,300 of our customers, and our crews are currently on scene at the moment," said Roberta Sheridan of JCP&L. "It affected customers on Aldrich Road and surrounding roads in the area."
Sheridan added that the outage was reported at 8:49 a.m., and all customers who were affected have now had power restored. The cause is currently being investigated by the JCP&L crews now working in the area.
