Farmingdale Resident Eleanor Stackhouse Dies at 73

New York native taught at St. Thomas the Apostle School in Old Bridge.

Eleanor J. Stackhouse, 73, of Farmingdale died Saturday, December 07, 2013 at Manor by the Sea, Ocean Grove.  Mrs. Stackhouse was born in New York City,

She earned an undergraduate and graduate degree from City College of New York, Class of 1962.

Mrs. Stackhouse was a communicant of St. Gabriel’s R.C. Church, Marlboro Township.

She was a teacher at St. Thomas the Apostle School, Old Bridge.

She and her husband Thomas J. Stackhouse, Jr. were married in 1963 and recently celebrated their 50th Wedding anniversary.

In addition to her husband she is survived by a son, Thomas C. Stackhouse and his wife, Karen; two daughters, Christine Stackhouse, and Suzanne Thilenius and her husband, Theron; and two grandchildren, Mollie and T.J. Stackhouse.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations to St. Thomas the Apostle School, Route 18 South, Old Bridge, NJ would be appreciated.
