Former Howell Resident Edith Noland Dies at 86

Worked at a law firm in Asbury Park and volunteered as a scout leader.

Edith E. Noland, 86, of Far Hills passed away on Saturday, November 30, 2013 at Brandywine Senior Living at Middlebrook Crossing, Bridgewater. Edith was born and raised in Asbury Park before moving to Howell in 1964. 

She was a secretary at Gerard Carton’s law firm in Asbury Park, a dog groomer at No Bull Kennels and also volunteered as a Girl Scout Leader.

She was predeceased by her husband, Pearl H. Noland, Jr. Edith is survived by a son, Glenn Noland and his wife, Lynn of Marlboro, MA; a daughter, Linda Fiore and her husband, Michael John of Far Hills; seven grandchildren, Richard Noland and his wife, Emily, David Noland and his wife, Katie, Christine Noland and her fiancé, Neil Orlofski, Carol Noland, Andrew Noland, Linda Murry and her husband, Win and Michael Fiore; and /three great grandchildren, Caroline, Piper and Sophia.
