Former Howell Resident Kathy Willis Dies at 59

Willis previously worked as a manager at Tom's Tavern and a waitress at the Apollo Diner.

Kathy Willis, 59, of Jackson passed away on Friday, March 7, 2014 at Kimball Medical Center, Lakewood.  Kathy was born in Hoboken, was raised in Port Monmouth and had lived in the Howell / Farmingdale area before moving to Jackson.  She was a manager at Toms Tavern, a waitress at the Apollo Diner and most recently working for the WaWa in Howell. 

Kathy was predeceased by her husband, George J. Willis, Jr. and a daughter, Angela Willis.  She is survived by two daughters, Dawn Willis of Greensboro, North Carolina and Victoria Willis of Jackson; a granddaughter, Aerianna Willis; and a brother, Thomas Stewart of Barnegat.

A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Wednesday, March 12, 2014 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM with her funeral service at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
