Howell Resident Josephine DeFalco Dies at 86

Worked in the New York City school system in Brooklyn.

Josephine DeFalco, 86, of Howell Township passed away on Tuesday, January 14, 2014. Josephine was born in Brooklyn, NY.  She was a school dietitian for NYC School System, Brooklyn, NY.

Josephine was predeceased by her husband, Fiore S. DeFalco in 2000. She is survived by her two daughters, Theresa DeFalco and her husband, Mitch of Spotswood, NJ and Jo-Ann Tedeschi and her husband, Eddie of Danville, CA; four grandchildren,  Danielle Mignosi, Jessica Tedeschi, Robert Mignosi and Dana-Marie Tedeschi; one brother, Neal Bellore and his wife, Marie; and a sister-in-law, Marilyn Bellore.

Visitation will be held at Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Monday, January 20, 2014 from 2:00 to 4:00 & 7:00 to 9:00 PM.  Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the funeral home on Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at 8:30 AM for the procession to her 9:30 AM Funeral Mass at the Church of St. Veronica, 4215 Route 9 North, Howell. Interment will follow in Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veteran’s Cemetery, Arneytown.
