Howell Resident Peter Savino Dies at 48

Peter N. Savino, 48, of Howell passed away at Jersey Shore University Medical Center on Wednesday, November 20, 2013. 

Peter was born in Brooklyn, was raised in the Bullshead section of Staten Island and had lived in Point Pleasant Borough before settling to Howell in 2000.  He was the Regional Sales Manager for Great Plains National Bank, Freehold.  Peter  enjoyed SCUBA diving, flying planes, playing golf, riding his motorcycle, playing softball and had a passion for cooking, but most of all he loved spending time with his family.

Peter is survived by his loving wife, Josephine Savino and two adoring daughters, Victoria and Gianna.

Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Sunday, November 24, 2013 from 1:00 to 5:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the funeral home at 8:00 AM on Monday, November 25, 2013 for the procession to St Mary’s Catholic Church, 1 Phalanx Road, Colts Neck for his 9:00 AM Funeral Mass.  Interment to follow in Clover Leaf Memorial Park, 931 Route 1 South, Woodbridge Township, NJ.
