Howell Woman, 82, Loved Brain Games, Crossword Puzzles

Ellen D. Catusco Euler, 82, of Howell passed away on June 18 at Kimball Medical Center, Lakewood.  

Catusco was born and raised in Brooklyn before moving to New Jersey in 1954 then settling to Howell in 1957. She retired after 25 years at Peerless Tube Co., Freehold as a supervisor in 1995. Catusco enjoyed crossword puzzles, brain games and had a love for reading. She was a parishioner of the Church of St. Veronica and also played bingo there.

Catusco was predeceased by her first husband, George Catusco; second husband, George Euler; a daughter, Pamela; and four brothers, Charles, William, Robert, and James Emer.  She is survived by two sons, George Catusco and his wife, Patricia of Bayville and John Catusco and his wife, Diane of Utah; two daughters, Jean De Marco and her husband, James of Middletown and Ellen Behaney and her husband, Chris of Jackson; fourteen grandchildren; five great grandchildren; a brother, Joseph Emer of Brooklyn, NY; two sisters, Catherine Lynch of Middletown and Alice Clark of Manchester; and many nieces and nephews. 

A visitation will be held at Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Rd. (Route 524), Freehold Township on Friday, June 21 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the funeral home on Saturday, June 22 at 8:30 a.m. for the procession to the Church of St. Veronica, 4215 Route 9 North, Howell for her 9:30 a.m. funeral mass. Interment will follow in St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold.
