Longtime Farmingdale Resident, 92, Dies

June H. Fleming passed away on Tuesday, may 21

June H. Fleming, 92, of Farmingdale passed away on Tuesday, May 21, 2013 in Wall Township.  Born in Farmingdale, she was a lifelong resident.  June was a member of the Freehold High School Class of 1937 and a graduate of Trenton State Teachers College in 1941. 

Before retiring from the Colts Neck School System, she previously taught in the Manasquan, Freehold and Farmingdale schools.She loved to play the piano and had a special interest in art, music and nature.  

June is survived by her daughter, Mary Lou Moriarty and her husband, Robert of Manasquan; three sons, Robert Michael Fleming and his wife, Carolyn of Monroe, Douglas Lee Fleming and his wife, Karen of Brick, John Craig Fleming and his wife, Jill of New Bedford, NH; five grandsons, Mark, Brian, Andrew, Adam and Kyle; a brother, William R. Hall and his wife, Mary of Farmingdale; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Wednesday, May 29, 2013 from 4:00 to 7:30 PM.  A funeral service will follow at 7:30 PM with the Rev. Dr. Wayne Richards officiating.  Interment will be held privately.
