Longtime Howell Resident Dies at 92

W. Peter Forman, 92, of Freehold passed away on Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at Ocean Medical Center, Brick. Mr. Forman was born in Trenton and was a lifelong resident of Howell.  

He was a farmer in the family business, W. Peter Forman & Sons, a life member of Freehold Rotary, and had served on the Howell Township Board of Education and as Trustee and the eldest living member of First Baptist Church of Freehold.  

Mr. Forman was predeceased by his wife, Muriel in 2008.  He is survived by three sons, Peter Forman and his wife, Betty of Freehold, John Forman and his wife, Janice of Farmingdale and Clayton Forman and his wife, Michele of Myrtle Beach; and six grandchildren, Peter Forman and his wife, Jennie, Brian Forman and his wife, Cathy; Jason Forman and his wife, Kimberly, Matthew Forman and his wife, Michelle, Christopher Forman and Jeffrey Forman; four great grandchildren; one sister, Carolyn Forman Moe and her husband, Dr. Christian H. Moe of Illinois; and two nephews.

Visitation will be held at Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Sunday, October 27, 2013 from to 5:00 to 8:00 PM.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend his 10:00 AM funeral service on Monday, October 28, 2013 with Rev. William L. Frederickson officiating at the funeral home.  Interment to follow in Maplewood Cemetery, Freehold.
