Math Teacher, Girl Scout Leader Dies at 58

Visitation for Janet Dzienisiewski is from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the George S. Hassler Funeral Home in Jackson.

Janet L. Dzienisiewski, 58, of Howell passed away Monday at CentraState Medical Center in Freehold Township, according to her obituary on legacy.com.

Dzieniskiewski was born and raised in Staten Island until she moved to Howell 33 years ago, her obituary said. She taught math at Marlboro High School for 16 years and then at Monsignor Donovan High School in Toms River for 20 years. She was also a Girl Scout Leader.

Visitation is from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the George S. Hassler Funeral Home, 980 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson. Her funeral will be at 8 p.m. Thursday. A private cremation will follow.
