Obit: John M. Ferrador, 73

Funeral Mass scheduled for Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. at the Church of St. Veronica

John M. Ferrador, 73, of Howell Township passed away Saturday, May 4, 2013 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township.  He was born in Elizabeth and lived most of his life in Cranford.  John had also lived in Hazlet before moving to Howell Township in 2000.  He was an Electronics Technician for over 20 years.  During his career, he had been employed by a number of companies including Audio Visual Labs in Atlantic Highlands and EWC Controls in Englishtown.  He retired in 2001.  John, who enjoyed sailing with his family, was a former member of the Hazlet Township Zoning Board of Adjustment, a former Weeblo Leader for Cub Scout Pack 137 in Hazlet, and a communicant of the Church of St. Veronica.  He was a US Air Force Veteran serving from 1957 to 1961.

John was predeceased by his parents, John and Mary Ferrador, and a sister, Adele Hudak.  He is survived by his loving wife of 48 wonderful years, Jo-Ann Ferrador; two sons, Michael Ferrador and his wife, Cindy of Matawan and Robert Ferrador and his wife, Shelley of Hazlet; one granddaughter, Alexandra Ferrador; and one grandson, Zach Ferrador; his very special caregiver, James; and many nieces and nephews.  Over the years, John and Jo-Ann also opened their home and provided care to many foster children. 

Friends and relatives are invited to attend his Funeral Mass on Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at 9:30 AM at Church of St. Veronica, 4215 Route 9 North, Howell.  No viewing.  Private cremation to follow.
