Bon Denson, 65, of Howell, passed away on Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune.
Bon was born in Quitman, Georgia and had lived in Somerset before moving to Howell in 2005. She was a computer operator for General Motors Insurance for over 30 years retiring in 2003. Bon is the widow of Harold Denson who predeceased her on August 23, 2003 and her sister, Phyllis Tillman. She is survived by one daughter, Arnerine Pierre and her husband, Dominique of Howell; three sisters, Opal Tillman, Merle McMillon both of Atlanta, Georgia and Janie Fuller; nieces and nephews, Angel Franklin, Reginald Franklin, Marella Holmes, Mark Holmes, Leontyne Dunn, Willie Denson, Roy Brinson, Cora Wright, Lorene Brinson, Terrence Thomas, Hashim Fuller and Adella Fuller; and great nieces and great nephews, Angelicia, Sharice, Derrick, Mark, Maleah, Julian, Warren.
Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Tuesday, May 21, 2013 from 9:00 to 10:00 AM with her funeral service to follow at 10:00 AM at the funeral home with Bishop George Searight officiating. A private cremation at the request of the family will follow.
