Ronald Tremblay, Jr. Dies, Howell HS Class of 2011

Tremblay, 21, was a lifelong Howell resident who will be remembered for his athleticism and love of a good card game.

Ronald M. “Ronnie” Tremblay, Jr., 21, of Howell Township passed away on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at Kimball Medical Center, Lakewood. Ronnie was born Monmouth Medical Center and was a lifelong Howell Township resident. At the age of 6, he was a heart transplant recipient which allowed him to live life to the fullest. Ronnie was a 2011 graduate of Howell High School. Since the age of five, he was an in-line hockey and baseball player in the Howell Leagues. Ronnie was a talented trout fisherman his whole life but had a passion for playing Texas Hold’em.

Ronnie was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Nicholas Perna. He is survived by his parents, Ronald M. and Christine Tremblay, Sr. of Howell Township; two brothers, Joseph Tremblay and Nicholas Tremblay both of Howell Township; his maternal grandmother, Joyce Perna of Toms River; his paternal grandparents, Joseph and Barbara Tremblay of Freehold Township; aunts and uncles, Michael Perna of Brick, Linda Perna of Brick, Randy and Linda Tremblay of Freehold Township, Joy and Craig Kowalski of Freehold Township, and  Gloria and Peter Bulk of Smithburg; eight cousins; and many dear friends.

Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM.  Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the funeral home on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at 9:00 AM for the procession to St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold Township for his 10:00 AM Funeral Mass.
