Suzanne E. Lucey, 84, of Howell passed away at home on Sunday, March 24, 2013. Suzanne was born in North Bergen, NJ and had lived in Lakewood before moving to Howell 15 years ago. She was a certified nurse’s aide at Paul Kimball Hospital, Lakewood for 28 years before retiring in 1991. Suzanne had a love for her family and friends, and enjoyed cooking, animals, crafts and gardening.
She was predeceased by a son, Wayne Lucey and a granddaughter, Danielle Lucey. Suzanne is survived by her son, Glenn Lucey and his wife, Lauralee of Howell; a daughter, Colleen Beaupre of Howell; eight grandchildren, Lauren Lucey, Brittany Lucey, Dominique Beaupre, Paul Beaupre, II, William Adamczak, Wayne Lucey, John Lucey and Breanne Lucey; seven great grandchildren; two brothers, Andrew Graw and William Graw; and two sisters, Carol Millen and Gertrude Colditz.
Visiting at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Tuesday, March 26, 2013 from 2:00 to 4:00 & 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her 9:30 AM funeral service at the funeral home on Wednesday, March 27, 2013 with Rev. Philip R. Matarazzo officiating.
