Obituary: Theresa M. Golding, 80

Theresa M. Golding, 80, of Farmingdale passed away surrounded by her family on Sunday, August 18, 2013 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune.  Theresa was a life-long resident of Farmingdale.  Along with her father, she was an insurance agent and owner of the Locher Agency, Asbury Park.  Theresa was a woman before her time.  She was a former president of the Insurance Administrators of America and founded their woman’s chapter.  Theresa was a member of Ardena Baptist Church.  She was a devoted wife, loving mother, and adoring grandma Tiki.

Theresa was predeceased by her husband, Daniel J. Golding and two brothers, Edward and Robert Locher.  She is survived by three sons; Richard Golding and his wife, Maria of Shark River Hills, Daniel Golding, Jr. of Farmingdale, and Vinny Piasecki and his wife, Karen of Farmingdale; and two grandchildren, Samantha and Thomas.

A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Wednesday, August 21, 2013 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM.  Relative and friends are invited to attend her 11:00 AM Funeral Service at the funeral home on Thursday, August 22, 2013.  Interment to follow in Old Tennent Cemetery, Tennent.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory Theresa may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Southern Regional Office, 400 Morris Avenue, Suite 251, Denville, NJ 07834.  For information, directions or condolence messages to the family, visit www.claytonfuneralhome.com.
