Adam the editor on the Patch....have not seen his name or material in quite some time. Is it me or is he not around?

Hi Lucretia, Patch underwent some significant restructuring recently. We understand that the loss of local editors you've come to rely on (and colleagues that we respect greatly and miss) is a painful one. There will certainly be growing pains as we move forward, but we remain very committed the mission of covering and serving our communities. We are hard at work on changes that will make it much easier for users to post and share content on Patch. We appreciate your concern, and we will be working hard to remain worthy of your continued support.

..."is a painful one" That is the biggest "fluff" Ive ever seen. When Adam wrote, it started with the core of the story and then spread out from there with all the details. His writing was the best. It wasn't long at all before I noticed a difference and lack of journalistic expertise in what was left of the Patch. So, sorry Charlie....

There are editors and then their are us who are blogging the news since most of the editors got let go. The Patch went down the toilet the day they let go of all the talent.

Whats left isn't worth it.

What a shame....the person who made the decision to get rid of local reporters is the one that should be fired. So many local news stories out their that aren't getting the attention they need.
