Hobby Lobby Hypocrisy - They wil cover Vasectomies, Viagra and Penis Pumps but not the Pill

THE SUPREME COURT RULED THAT HOBBY LOBBY HAS THE RELIGOUS RIGHTS OF PEOPLE BUT THAT WOMEN DO NOT. CONGRESSMAN SMITH AS CHAIR OF THE CONGRESSIONAL PRO LIFE CAUCUS HELPED CREATE THE FRAMEWORK FOR THE HOBBY LOBBY CASE AND CHAMPIONED FOR HOBBY LOBBY.
Smith Comments on Supreme Court Ruling on Hobby Lobby Case  Washington, Jun 30
“This is a resounding victory for religious freedom, and more than that, freedom for all Americans who want to live and work according to the dictates of their conscience."
Washington, D.C. — U.S. Rep. Chris Smith (NJ-04), co-chair of the Bi-partisan Congressional Pro-Life Caucus, issued the following statement regarding the U.S. Supreme Court decisions today in the religious freedom cases of Burwell v. Hobby Lobby Stores, Inc. and Conestoga Wood Specialties Corp. v. Burwell:

“This is a resounding victory for religious freedom, and more than that, freedom for all Americans who want to live and work according to the dictates of their conscience.  In handing the Obama Administration this historic defeat, the Court has upheld the conscience rights of Americans, including the Green and Hahn family businesses, and provided much needed relief from a discriminatory Obamacare policy. The Court’s decision also exposes the Constitutional problems inherent in this Obamacare mandate forcing American family business-owners to either violate their moral and religious beliefs by paying for insurance coverage of abortifacient drugs and devices—or pay massive fines to provide health insurance for their employees.          “Notwithstanding today's victory affirming that Americans do not lose their conscience rights in the workplace, we must not forget that there remain more than 50 cases involving nonprofit organizations, including the University of Notre Dame and the Little Sisters of the Poor, which have sought similar relief in the courts in order to follow their religious beliefs as they provide healthcare for their employees. Next the Court will have to consider the Obama Administration's coercive rule, (the so-called ‘accommodation’) for religious nonprofits. This ‘accommodation’ is a distinction without a difference, and fails to protect the freedoms of charities that provide services to Americans and instead forces them to be complicit in activities they morally oppose. President Obama’s attempt to force these faith-based organizations to violate their religious beliefs cannot possibly stand after today’s decision.   HOBBY LOBBY COVERS VASECTOMIES, VIAGRA AND PENIS PUMPS.  Towns in District 4 NJ

Myth: The Hobby Lobby decision is a narrow ruling that only affects a couple of types of birth control. Fact : The Supreme Court let stand several rulings allowing for-profit companies to deny coverage of ANY type of contraception - not just the specific types that Hobby Lobby opposed. Myth: The ruling is limited to "closely held" corporations, which affects only a small number of employees. Fact: The Supreme Court ruling could apply to companies that employ more than half of the U.S. workforce. FREEDOM OF RELIGION AND FREEDOM FROM RELIGION Watch Video http://vimeo.com/99036119

This "coalition" just does not get it. They are just ranting, and copy pasting the same answer over and over and over again. If the insurance does not cover the type of birth control YOU want, go buy it yourself, or go to Planned Parenthood and get it fro free.

Please educate yourself about what is happening to Planned Parenthood--most of it's funding has been eliminated due to politics and people's feelings regarding abortion. The government won't allow anymorel the "free" things P.P. used to be able to help women with. Those of us who marched on Washington and spent our own money to get the right to freedom of choice seem to have wasted our time/money. We are going back to the 1950's in thought, word and definitely, deed! How sad for the young people of today...

Planned Parenthood is in the business of destroying lives, plain and simple. No taxpayer dollars should ever be used to provide contraception of any kind, including and especially abortafacients. The Hobby Lobby ruling said that they are exempt from paying for FOUR of the TWENTY contraceptions offered based on the fact that they destroy life. If you can't find a contraception to use out of the 16 remaining, that's your problem! Also, did you know that, while most insurances offered by employers DID NOT COVER CONTRACEPTION UNTIL THE A.C.A., Hobby Lobby DID! HOBBY LOBBY was one of the few companies in the country that offered contraception as part of what was covered in their insurance plans. My own UNION based insurance did not cover contraception, unless used for a medical reason outside of birth control. Give me a break, people. You always want something for nothing. It's not the employers responsiblity to cover your insurance costs. Never was and never should be. That was simply a BENEFIT offered by employers to attract great workers and that's exactly the way it should still be.

Excellent points Lady J and HT2. As I have stated all along, not paying for an employees contraceptive is not denying them the right to use said contraceptive. The attitude of "someone should pay for it, just not me" is the problem. Up until around 1990 the pill wasn't covered by my health insurance at all. So you know what??? We paid for it on our own. Just wait until employers get tired of having their employees try to force them to cover things like this and they say "screw it" go get insurance through the ACA. So you can have your abortion pills, but then you will be paying out the arse for insurance...All because a group stamped their feet and cried I want it!!!!!!!!! Remember, health insurance provided by the employer is a benefit...It is not required to be provided......they can always save themselves a bunch of money by tossing the employees into theACA...
