Brush Fire Breaks Out Near Howell-Lakewood Border

Howell fire departments and New Jersey Forest Fire Service battling blaze

A brush fire is currently burning on Brook Road in Howell, near its border with Lakewood. Howell Fire Department authorities and the New Jersey Forest Fire Service (NJFFS) are currently on scene fighting the fire, as NJFFS water planes making drops on the area seek to refuel at Allaire Airport.
