Explosives Training Scheduled at NWS Earle

Residents in Howell may hear detonations throughout the week.

Naval Weapons Station Earle has scheduled explosives training this week, according to a news release.

Described as "Explosives and Explosives Effects," training the work is being done in conjunction with the Transportation Security Administration.

Howell residents in the area of NWS Earle may hear detonations in the afternoon hours, however weather conditions may lead to morning testing.

Training is expected to run from April 8 to April 12.
