Fake ID Nets Man Best Buy Bundle, Police Say

A fraudulent credit card was allegedly used by a South Carolina man at the Howell store.

A South Carolina resident is charged with using a fraudulent credit card to buy more than $1,000 worth of items from the Best Buy in Howell.

Court documents say that 47-year-old Rodney Jenkins of South Carolina attempted to use a Chase Visa card with the name James Green on it to buy three iPod touches, an X Box 360 game and 2 CDs on or about October 2.

He was also found in the possession of several other cards under the name James Green and also had a driver’s license from Connecticut under the same name.

Bail for Jenkins was set at $15,000.
