A four-car accident on Route 9 near Elton-Adelphia Road left two injured Friday night, according to the Freehold Township PBA Local #209 Facebook page.
One victim was transported from the scene via helicopter, while another was transported on ground, the report stated.
A couple involved in the crash was in the process of moving from Maine to Florida; their vehicle was totaled in the wreck, Freehold Township PBA Local #209 wrote. Officers at the scene transported the couple to the Days Inn and paid for a room for the pair, the PBA reported.
