Freehold Resident Faces Burglary, Fencing Charges

Charges stem from incidents in August.

A Monmouth County Grand Jury handed up a five count indictment against a Freehold resident for events happening in Freehold Borough and Howell in August.

John A. Fenimore, 41, was indicted on one count of third degree burglary for entering a township home on different dates between August 3 ad August 10. He was also indicted on one count of third degree theft of movable property for taking jewelry during that time valued in excess of $500.

The third charge in the indictment is for one count of fourth degree credit card theft for allegedly taking a Captial One Credit Card as well as a one count of third degree fraudulent use of a credit card. Between August 3 and August 10 he is alleged to have used the credit card in several municipalities including Howell, Freehold, Jackson, Sayreville and Trenton. The card was reportedly used at various stores, restaurants and gas stations.

Fenimore also faces one count of third degree fencing by trying to sell stolen jewelry, watches and tools in Howell and Freehold Borough with the items being sold valued  at more than $500.
