Freehold Resident Faces Child Porn Charges in Howell

A two count indictment was recently handed up by a Monmouth County Grand Jury against a Freehold resident involving child pornography in Howell.

James Salerno, 31, faces one count of fourth degree endangering the welfare of a child for possession of child pornography. According to the indictment between December 13, 2010 and November 9, 2011 Salerno is alleged to have had child pornography in his possession.

Salerno was also indicted on one count of second degree endangering the welfare of a child for the distribution of child pornography. During that same time period he is alleged to have been involved in distributing child pornography by receiving the items with the intention to distribute them .
