Hazlet Resident Faces Charges From Howell Pharmacy

Woman attempted to obtain prescription drugs illegally.

A Monmouth County Grand Jury has charged a Hazlet resident with two charges stemming from an incident at a Route 9 Pharmacy. 

According to the indictment, Denise Cassiba, 35, faces charges of third degree uttering a forged instrument and third degree attempted obtaining a controlled dangerous substance by fraud. On Aug. 14 Cassiba is alleged to have attempted to use a forged prescription blank to obtain Oxycodone at the on Route 9.

  • Douglas Wilson, 26, of Williamstown and Danielle Vinciguerra, 28, of Freehold were charged with third degree burglary for an incident occurring at a township residence on July 4. 
  • Damar Q. Bivens, 20, of Jackson, was charged with third degree possession of a controlled dangerous substance for allegedly being found with cocaine on April 28. 
  • Alex B. Grillo, 24, of Brick is charged with third degree burglary and third degree theft of movable property. According to the indictment on July 7 Grillo entered a township residence and took items including money and jewelry worth more than $500 from the house.
