Howell Police Arrest Suspect in Theft Cases

Believed to be responsible for several thefts in two towns

A 17-year-old suspect was arrested this week in connection with a string of thefts throughout in the township and neighboring Brick. 

According to Detective Sgt. Eileen Dodd Ptl. Michael Pavlick arrested the suspect for thefts on Diamond Lane, Rainbow Dr., Starlight Rd. and Yellowstone Lane. 

Dodd said many of the items that were reported stolen have been recovered and the victims have been identified. She said the Howell Police Department has been able to match the stolen items to its owners.

In addition to the Howell Thefts Dodd said he was also found to have five GPS units belonging to Brick Residents. She said those victims have also been identified and will have their property returned to them. 

The Brick Police Department has been notified of the arrest.
