Howell Police: Man Punched In Face For His iPhone

Police have charged two Brooklyn men with assaulting a man in Howell for his iPhone.

Two Brooklyn men are accused of assaulting a man in Howell to rob his iPhone. 

Rayshawn Hines, 33 of Madison Street and Deon Dirton, 31, of Lewis Ave. are charged by Howell Police with punching the victim in the face and grabbing his phone, valued at over $500 on Thursday. 

They are both charged with second degree robbery and third degree assault. 

The complaints were signed by Howell Police Officer Omri Spiegel. 

Hines is being held at the Monmouth County Correctional Institution in Freehold on $60,000 bail, no ten percent for the alleged offenses, set by Municipal Judge Michael Pugliese.  

Their first appearance before a judge is May 6.
