Howell Police Seek Help Locating Missing Woman

Believed to have lived in her car in the Freehold area.

The Howell Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a woman who was last seen in the Freehold area.

Salvacion Dematera was reported missing in December of 2013 and according to police reports she had been living out of her car at the time. Dematera’s car was located on January 17 at the Thomas Edison rest area on the New Jersey Turnpike. The New Jersey State Police reportedly searched the area but were unable to locate her.

Detective Sgt. Eileen Dodd said the most recent information indicates that she may be somewhere in the new York area. Dodd said at this time there is no reason to believe Dematera is in danger but any help locating her would be greatly appreciated.
